That’s why we love them and that’s why there never seems to be enough to go around. Every major civilization on the planet had them – the Greeks, the Romans, the Chinese. It’s difficult to find one ethnic group that never discovered the art. It’s little surprise then, that spas have increased both in popularity and in variety here in our own little corner of the world.

If you’re already a spa-creature, then you understand the attraction. If you’ve lived all this time without ever venturing into one, all I have to say is that you should try it, you may like it. Here are a handful of terrific places to find rejuvenation – from coast to coast and in between.
